The Gasthaus Alpenrose is the starting point for the most beautiful hikes in the Alpstein. Just a few minutes’ walk from Wasserauen railway station and the Ebenalp cable car, hiking, nature and paragliding enthusiasts will find everything their hearts desire here.

Dear guests, we have taken our winter break and would like to thank you for all the wonderful moments we shared last season.

Family, tradition,

Our inn was built in 1892 – initially as a small pub with its own stable. In 1962, the restaurant was rebuilt and a few simple guest rooms were added. In 1975, the building was extensively renovated and the façade was given the hand-painted flower and animal pictures that are still familiar today. In the winter of 1983/84, the extension for the hotel rooms with balconies was finally realised.

Since 2015, we – Sandra and Markus Wild-Wyss – have been at work. And now the fifth generation!
